Part of Loop’s special-edition Ström Traditional series, this two-handed rod brings the classic look of a cane rod to modern Spey fishing. It’s built on the same 7X heptagonal M40X carbon blank as the flagship Ström, so the heritage styling comes with the strength, stability and accuracy you’d expect from a premium rod.The finishing touches set it apart: a cane-inspired blank finish, a dark nickel and hand-selected myrtle wood reel seat, a flor cork handle, Japanese kimono silk wraps and traditional ferrule stoppers. At 13 feet ft this is a versatile, well-balanced two-hander for Atlantic salmon, sea trout and steelhead. Its moderate-fast action handles everything from shooting heads to full Spey lines, giving clean turnover and good line control on a wide range of rivers. It suits newer Spey casters and experienced anglers alike.
