The Jiggy Hex Nymph is a weighted jig-style imitation of a Hexagenia nymph, designed to fish effectively along the bottom of sandy and muddy pools.
Its profile and rubber legs create a lifelike presentation that makes it an effective option for targeting trout feeding on burrowing mayflies.
Drift this pattern close to the bottom, particularly through deeper pools where Hexagenia nymphs are present. The jig design helps keep the fly down in the feeding zone, while the rubber legs add movement and attraction in the current.
