As Drift Outfitters' Head Instructor, Chris Krysciak brings almost two decades of fly fishing experience and years of hands-on teaching to every lesson. Specializing in both single-hand and double-hand (Spey) casting, Chris leads a full suite of instructional programs at Drift, including Learn to Fly Fish, Casting Tune-Ups, Spey Casting Clinics, and On-the-Water Guided Instruction. Chris has been a competitive fly angler for over 10 years and has had the opportunity to fish for Fly Fishing Team Canada at two world championships, providing him the chance to learn from some of the best anglers in the world, skills that he loves to share with new and experienced anglers alike!

Chris has taught hundreds of anglers—beginners and seasoned fly fishers alike—helping them build solid casting fundamentals, troubleshoot common issues, and become more confident and capable on the water. His teaching style is patient, practical, and highly adaptable, with a focus on making fly fishing approachable and enjoyable for everyone.
