We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Support team member to manage shipping operations and ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall logistics efficiency.

Commitment
- 30-40 hours per week
- Tuesday through Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Generate shipping labels and documentation using Shopify and carrier systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Canada Post) when appropriate.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers when applicable
- Ensure order accuracy by comparing order contents against packing slips and resolve discrepancies
- Ensuring items are in their expected condition before packaging and will maintain their integrity during the shipping process.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas
- Update order statuses, tracking numbers, fulfillment details in Shopify, relaying this information to customers on a case by case basis.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock organization
- Handle incoming shipments and verify received goods, inventory and data input
- Flag backorders, delays, or fulfillment issues to management, and customers when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
- Keep track of shipping supplies, submitting packing material requests when appropriate, keeping an orderly packing and shipping station.
- Stocking of shelves, merchandising, tidying, cleaning, general help when shipping duties have been fulfilled.
Qualifications & Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory systems (Shopify) is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move packages (up to ~50 lbs / 23 kg)
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, order systems)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quick, comfortable, and effortless in using technology, electronic devices including tablets, laptops and computers and multiple common computer programs – our sales and stock systems are entirely digital.
- Applicants must be comfortable using Excel and Word for basic functions.
- Applicants do not need to have an understanding of fly fishing or fly fishing equipment. Applicants that do will be favoured for the position.
