If you want to swing or strip flies for steelhead, sink tips will be a very valuable friend! Sink tips do more than just get your fly down to fish (which is enough reason in itself), they also help slow your fly down which can be very important in cold water.

There are a lot of different types of sink tips to choose from, and they can vary a lot. In this video, Chris goes over types of sink tips, which will be most appropriate for you, and how to rig them up!
