This event has 3 parts!
- General admission gets you in to see 15+ of Ontario's finest fly tyers demonstrating various patterns and techniques!
- Add on fly tying lessons hosted by our headliner tyers Mitchell Roberts and Nick Groves (tickets for Nick coming soon) get you into private fly tying classes where you'll receive hands on instruction from these Canadian superstars of fly tying. These are add on classes to the general admission, you must hold a general admission ticket as well to attend these sessions. Full details of classes below.
The Emergence, hosted by Drift Outfitters, is Ontario's biggest fly tying event of the year! We'll be joined by 15+ of the finest fly tyers from across Ontario (and beyond) at Leftfield Brewery as they demonstrate their fly tying skills and take your questions on tying. You'll see tyers demonstrating everything from trout flies, to bass flies, to pike and musky flies, to steelhead flies, and more! We'll have more details about the epic lineup of tyers coming out over the next few weeks, but in the meantime check out the featured tyers' stacked resume below!

Through the day we will also have private, advanced tie-along fly tying lessons hosted by headliner presenters Mitchell Roberts and Nick Groves. These classes will be limited in size and require advanced, separate tickets. In these sessions you'll have access to exclusive instruction from these superstars of Canadian fly tying. Details below:

Mitchell Roberts - Wingin' It - 2-4pm: It's time to take your presentation flies to the next level! This class focuses on demystifying married wings for classic and modern salmon flies. Students will be provided with a partially-tied salmon fly, and will have access to an assortment of winging feathers. Together as a class, we will learn how to plan, marry, and set a wing on the provided flies. Students must provide their own vise, bobbin, bodkin, sharp fine tipped scissors, and whip finisher. This is an advanced class, participants must be intermediate to advanced fly tyers.
Make sure to book the day off, as later in the day we'll be screening the IF4 (International Fly Fishing Film Festival) also at Leftfield! Separate tickets are required for this event, you can find them HERE!
Parking: There is a very large Green P parking lot right across the street from the venue! Other local parking options are available, please note that you are responsible for your own parking, security of items within your vehicle and any applicable parking fees.
Public Transit: Leftfield Brewery Liberty Village is very accessible by public transit with Exhibition GO Station being just 400 meters away, and the King St streetcar just a couple minutes walk from the venue.

Cancellation Policy:
You will have up-to 7 days before the event for a refund on your purchased tickets. Within 7 days of the event tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another individual(s) but will only be available at will call under the original purchasers name.
Drugs/Alcohol/Excessive Odor of Marijuana:
Unfortunately we have to say this.
If anyone shows signs of intoxication and/or smell profusely of alcohol or marijuana we reserve the right to not admit you into the venue. During past events this has been an issue with individuals who are either overly intoxicated, or who smell of marijuana, and it has negatively effected the experience of others. Please, have fun, but don't let it interfere with others.
Left Field Brewery does serve food and alcohol - outside food & alcohol will not be permitted.
