To effectively cast these flies we recommend an 8-10wt rod with an appropriate aggressive weight forward streamer/pike/bass or similar taper. A floating line will fish very well for most spring pike fishing, however an intermediate or slow sinking line will make these even more versatile!

Dope fly shop, crazy selection of flies including big topwater bass flies of all sorts, and big pike flies which are pretty hard to find in person. Chill staff, loads of inventory. I make a point to stop here every time I'm in Toronto!
