This fly is a proven ringer on your line, with an emerger pattern that imitates various hatches. While this fly can be fished alone and do well, it arguably performs best when tied behind a dry fly or a lower-sinking nymph in multi-fly rigs. CDC materials limit how much water the fly takes on, so you have to treat it less often than flies tied with other materials.
A minimum quantity of 2 flies of the same size has been set for this item due to the staff time and labour it takes to fulfill fly orders. In our experience it's always nice to have a spare if you happen to lose one on a rock or tree branch too!
