Here's your chance!

Why learn from professionals?
Because it is what we do!

Getting hands-on instruction from people who know, live, and breathe fly fishing is, by far, the best way to get into the sport.  Acquiring the right foundations and fundamentals from the start is essential, which will lead you to a life-long love of an incredible way fish, spend time on the water, and connect with the world that surrounds you.

With cool water temperatures in Southern Ontario in our early season, our lessons will focus on fishing for trout in rivers. We'll show you how to pick flies to match the insects they are feeding on, both on and below the surface, where to find fish, how to cast and manage your line, much more!

As much as we want to fish for trout all summer long, warm water temperatures are lethal for all trout species as it does not support their metabolic needs.  We then shift our focus to bass, and teach our students how to approach and catch them on the fly!

Which species is better or more fun?   Trout can be very technical fish, but exceptionally rewarding.  Bass are explosive and heart-stopping when crush a fly on the surface.    We have an incredibly hard time picking between the two!  We will say though that bass can be found all over Southern Ontario and cottage country, can be far easier to find than trout!

All content and skills you acquire from these courses can be used to target many other species of fish, and in lakes and ponds as well.
