Flies for Fly Ins (or any Northern Ontario fishing trip)!
Northern Ontario fly fishing opportunities are endless but a fishing trip north by car, canoe or float plane means choosing carefully what to bring. It can be hard to narrow things down to just a few fly boxes and a few set ups and there’s no fly shop nearby . During this session we are going to cover exactly what you’ll need to have in your box to trigger the lateral line of that monster northern pike and spin up some heavy streamers to jig up a fat walleye or smallmouth bass of the north.
Nick has been fly fishing the far North since 2007 when he lived on the coast of James bay. His fly patterns creative functional and most importantly they catch fish.
Each student will receive all materials and tools needed to tie 4 proven patterns and will get to take home the flies they tie. Students should have some tying experience for this class.
Classes are roughly 2 hours in length but may vary depending on the ability of the class.
Please note: Pre-Booking 24 hours in advance is mandatory, walk-ins are not accepted
Tools and Materials:
We provide the tools, vise, and materials you will need for the duration of the class.
