Puke Fly

To continue our series, we have an Ontario classic, The Puke Fly! This fly was designed by Ian Colin James to imitate a "puked up" dead baitfish which smallmouth often cough up while in a feeding frenzy. These coughed up baitfish often get eaten up by other schooling fish. This fly also works great for other species including trout, steelhead, walleye, carp and even pike! Feel free to tie it in other colours too, though white seems to be best.
