With some more rain falling this week we're steadily getting more salmon and steelhead in the rivers. We are also starting to see pike fishing heat up as water cools and they return to the shallows!

Pike Forecast
Fall can offer some great pike fishing! Fish are just starting to get active again and move into shallower water. Fishing through October is similar to the spring season in reverse, meaning they will start out deeper and gradually come shallower. Look for green weedbeds, logs, and points as good starting places.
Trout Forecast
What do you mean trout? Isn't it closed??In most places, yes! But there are still some rivers within just a couple hours of Toronto you can fish for trout, plus lots of year round season lakes! There is also always the option of making a day trip to New York to fish some of their year round open trout rivers! If you want to learn more about these opportunities let us know and we can point you to some places to try!
Salmon
Salmon are showing up in numbers in the rivers! Get in touch with us and we can point you in the right direction for these large fish!
Egg, leech, baitfish, and worm patterns are all top producers, with larger and brighter flies being best when the rivers are higher following rainfall.
