Trout Fishing is Back ON!
Most rivers are cool and trout are active again, don’t waste it!
Late summer is one of our favourite times to get after trout as they haven't been pressured in the last month, it's almost like a second trout opener!
Fishing dry flies can be an extremely effective way to fish trout this time of year. Terrestrial patterns like small grasshoppers, beetles, and ants are all good ways to go. The great thing about these flies? Timing is not very important as the bugs are around all day long, and with how clumsy terrestrial insects are, you don't need perfect presentation to catch fish on them! Slap those hoppers on the water and get big eats!
